AUTHOR · EDUCATOR · FACILITATOR · FOUNDER
For more than three decades, Sensei Fred Jordan has taught the principles of awareness, discipline, and intentional action. Through Whole Self-Alignment™, he brings those teachings to individuals, leaders, schools, and organizations.
THE FRAMEWORK
What drives the way you think, feel, choose, and act? Whole Self-Alignment™ is a human-development framework for understanding those patterns and directing them toward a more intentional life.
FROM UNDERSTANDING TO APPLICATION
Awareness shapes how we lead, how we learn, how we relate to others, and how we understand and manage money. Alignment connects what we know to what we actually do.
Fred's teaching adapts to the audience: personal direction and purpose for individuals; accountable performance for organizations; positive choices for students; and financial awareness and readiness for those learning to direct their resources.

THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE TEACHINGS
A U.S. Marine veteran and lifelong martial arts educator, Fred Jordan was entrusted with continuing the teaching legacy of Tornado School of Martial Arts as successor and head instructor to founder Professor Gregory Jaco in 1998.
Fred expanded Tornado into a 15,000-square-foot martial arts school, gaining direct experience developing and leading a major instructional facility. Today, the school’s teachings extend beyond a single building. Tornado instruction continues through educational and community-based programs, carrying forward principles of discipline, awareness, responsibility, and leading by example.
ARCHIVAL DOCUMENTARY 2002
In filmmaker Robert Wyrod’s South Side Warriors, Professor Jaco publicly passes responsibility for the school’s teaching legacy to Fred. Fred responds with his commitment to lead by example.

MILITARY SERVICE & INTERNATIONAL TRAINING
Fred Jordan served in the United States Marine Corps from 1994 to 1998 with 1st Battalion, 5th Marines. He completed two six-month deployments to Okinawa, Japan: one in 1995 and another in 1997.
During each deployment, he participated in martial arts training at a Japanese police academy. He was the only American participating in those training sessions during both visits. In 1996, he was selected for a battalion instructor role, further developing his experience in teaching and leading others.
These experiences are part of the foundation he later brought to Tornado School of Martial Arts, IMASA, and the human-development work now expressed through Whole Self-Alignment™.
